Tantive IV

The Tantive IV is a spaceship in Star Wars. Designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation (CEC), the heavily modified CR90 corvette is designed to be practical, rugged, modular, with its simplified interiors showcasing refined luxury for Alderaan officials. It was used by Leia Organa in the original "Star Wars" movie and was the first vessel that viewers saw during the premiere of "Star Wars" in 1977. Other Corellian CR90 corvettes that have the Tantive IV design appear in Return of the Jedi and the Star Wars Expanded Universe books, comics, TV series and games.
